![]() ![]() I run sniper while at work so I can pretty much grab mispriced mats immediately and flip them later in the evening for easy money. Now, BoEs are much more rare to find so I've turned to creating groups for Legion mats and including them in my sniper search. 835+ BoEs were plentiful and allowed me to easily flip them with 15-20k profit. The only change I made was to change the Market Price Value to dbminbuyout instead of dbmarket. I've started sniping with BilisOnyxia's shortly after legion launched and already accrued nearly 350k in liquid gold by casually sniping. There is no magical sniper string that you can come up with that is going to create snipes out of thin air which are safe insta-buys. I personally don't really snipe very often (although I should), but when I do I usually stick to using my formula in combination with a few shopping operations for certain materials that I frequently need. You already thought about what price you are willing to pay for each item beforehand when you created the shopping operation. If you snipe by using shopping operations exclusively and you set it up properly, you will be able to buy everything that pops up on sniper without thinking about it - atleast not at that time. The "minprice" pricesource tries to minimize the chance of items being overvalued by using the lowest of multiple estimations, but that doesn't quite get the job done if all pricesources overestimate the value of an item.Īs others have pointed out, you either need to be rather careful and not blindly buy everything that pops up (which is good advice even when markets have stabilized, but right now it's even more important), or switch to sniping by groups/shopping operations. Sniping based on pricesources using the "Below Custom Pricesource" setting which is applied to all items doesn't really work well when prices are rapidly changing as pricesources need some time to catch up and therefor overvalue things. ![]()
